Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BeautyBind (the "Service"), operated by Verelium, Obrt za računalno programiranje ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. About the Service

BeautyBind is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for salons, beauty professionals, and businesses to manage appointments, staff, customer records, notifications, and related business operations.

The Service may include:

  • free and paid subscription plans
  • team and staff accounts
  • appointment management
  • email notifications
  • SMS notifications
  • customer management tools
  • white-label public salon pages
  • online booking for salon customers
  • analytics and reporting features
  • future features and integrations

We may update, improve, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Accounts and Organizations

To use certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate and complete information
  • keep your login credentials secure
  • maintain the security of your account
  • promptly notify us of unauthorized access

Account sharing is prohibited.

Organization owners may invite staff members or team members to join their organization. Invited users must independently create their own account and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy before accessing the Service.

Organizations may support multiple business locations within a single organization account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or organization.

4. White-Label Salon Pages

Eligible subscription plans may publish a branded white-label salon page on a *.beautybind.com subdomain (for example, your-salon.beautybind.com).

Use of a *.beautybind.com subdomain does not grant you ownership of that subdomain. We retain ownership of all BeautyBind domains and subdomains.

Subdomain slugs are subject to availability. We may reserve, reject, suspend, or reclaim slugs for reasons including trademark disputes, impersonation, offensive names, abuse, legal requests, inactive accounts, or technical or operational reasons.

You are solely responsible for all content displayed on your salon page, and for ensuring that:

  • uploaded images comply with copyright and trademark laws
  • prices displayed are accurate
  • opening hours displayed are accurate
  • contact information is accurate
  • business information is kept reasonably up to date

We may temporarily suspend or disable public salon pages for maintenance, security reasons, suspected fraud, abuse prevention, excessive resource usage, legal compliance, or violations of these Terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of public salon pages or online booking functionality.

We may display a "Powered by BeautyBind" attribution and links to our Terms and Privacy Policy on salon pages.

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

BeautyBind offers both free and paid subscription plans.

Paid subscriptions are processed by Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases made through the Service.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree that:

  • subscription fees are billed in advance
  • subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
  • you may cancel at any time before the next billing cycle
  • cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period
  • fees already paid are non-refundable unless required by applicable law

We reserve the right to modify pricing, plans, or features at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation
  • use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
  • upload malicious software or harmful code
  • attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
  • interfere with the security or integrity of the Service
  • scrape, crawl, mirror, or copy the Service without authorization
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • use automated bots or scripts to access the Service in an abusive manner
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without permission
  • impersonate another person or entity
  • use the Service to send spam or unauthorized communications

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Customer Data

Users may upload or enter information relating to their own customers, staff, or contacts ("Customer Data").

You are solely responsible for:

  • the legality of Customer Data you submit
  • obtaining any required consents or permissions
  • complying with privacy and data protection laws
  • ensuring you have a lawful basis for processing Customer Data

You should not upload sensitive personal information unless legally permitted and strictly necessary.

We process Customer Data on your behalf solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

For personal data of end customers submitted through white-label salon pages, you act as the data controller and we process such data on your behalf as a data processor.

8. Uploaded Content and Images

You retain ownership of all content and images that you upload to the Service, including logos, hero images, and gallery photos for your white-label salon page.

You grant BeautyBind a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and publicly display such content solely as necessary to provide the Service, maintain backups, comply with legal obligations, and complete account deletion processes. We do not use uploaded images for advertising, profiling, AI training (unless you explicitly opt in to such functionality in the future), or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.

All trademarks, logos, trade names, and other branding uploaded by salons remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of such intellectual property to BeautyBind.

You represent that you own or have all necessary rights and licenses to the content you upload, and that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law.

Uploaded images are accessible through public URLs and may be cached by browsers, search engines, or content delivery networks while your salon page is publicly available.

You may not upload content that:

  • is unlawful or promotes illegal activity
  • infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • is defamatory
  • is pornographic or sexually explicit
  • constitutes hate speech or abusive content
  • is violent or harmful
  • contains malware or malicious files
  • is otherwise objectionable

We reserve the right to remove such content without notice. We may investigate complaints regarding uploaded content and may suspend or remove content that we reasonably believe infringes third-party rights, violates applicable law, or breaches these Terms.

If you believe content hosted through the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, you may contact us at support@beautybind.com with sufficient information to investigate the claim.

We may use automated security or moderation tools to detect malicious, unlawful, or otherwise prohibited content uploaded to the Service.

Booking notes and other customer-submitted content are used solely for managing appointments and are subject to the same acceptable-use requirements where applicable.

9. Online Booking and End Customers

BeautyBind provides booking software only. The salon is the merchant: the contract for salon services — including pricing, performance, cancellations, and refunds — is between the customer and the salon. BeautyBind is not a party to that contract.

BeautyBind does not guarantee that appointments will be honored, that salon information is accurate, or that services will be performed to any particular standard.

BeautyBind does not process payments for salon services. Unless otherwise stated by the salon, payment for booked services is made directly to the salon in accordance with the salon's own payment policies.

If you enable online booking, you are responsible for:

  • inviting customers to the booking portal lawfully
  • honoring bookings made through your salon page
  • configuring and communicating your own booking policies, including minimum lead time and cancellation cutoff
  • obtaining any legally required consent before sending SMS or email communications to your customers

Booking confirmations, reminders, and updates are sent to end customers on your behalf.

10. Communications and Notifications

By using the Service, you agree that we may send:

  • account notifications
  • security alerts
  • transactional emails
  • appointment-related notifications
  • service announcements
  • billing communications
  • SMS notifications where enabled

Standard messaging and carrier rates may apply to SMS communications.

You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent before sending communications to your customers through the Service.

Marketing communications from BeautyBind may only be sent where permitted by applicable law, and users may opt out at any time.

11. Availability and Service Performance

We strive to maintain reliable service availability and performance.

However, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation or guaranteed uptime.

We do not provide a service-level agreement (SLA) unless explicitly agreed in writing.

We may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency changes that temporarily affect availability.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers including:

  • Supabase
  • Creem — Merchant of Record, subscription billing, payment processing, tax collection, and invoicing
  • Fly.io
  • Cloudflare
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Maps
  • Meta Pixel

We are not responsible for outages, interruptions, or actions caused by third-party providers.

Your use of third-party integrations or authentication providers may also be subject to separate third-party terms and privacy policies.

13. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, branding, content, interfaces, and design elements, is owned by Verelium, Obrt za računalno programiranje or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service unless expressly authorized.

We reserve all rights not expressly granted under these Terms.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if:

  • you violate these Terms
  • payment obligations are not met
  • your use creates security or legal risks
  • required by law
  • necessary to protect the Service or other users

You may stop using the Service at any time.

Upon termination:

  • your access may be revoked
  • Customer Data and uploaded content may be deleted following account termination in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements
  • certain legal obligations and rights will survive termination

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • compatibility with all devices or systems
  • accuracy or reliability of results
  • that the Service will always be secure or free of vulnerabilities

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verelium, Obrt za računalno programiranje and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages
  • loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
  • business interruption
  • loss resulting from third-party services
  • unauthorized access or data breaches beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions may not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Verelium, Obrt za računalno programiranje, its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • your use of the Service
  • Customer Data submitted by you
  • your violation of these Terms
  • your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights

18. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

19. Future Features and AI Services

We may introduce new features, integrations, automation tools, or AI-powered functionality in the future.

Additional terms may apply to certain features or beta services.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Croatia.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Croatia.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If material changes are made, we may provide notice through the Service, by email, or by updating the effective date above.

Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
