Get your salon ready for Croatia's anchor prices

Under Croatia's Law on Exceptional Measures for Price Control and the accompanying Decisions on the display of additional prices and publication of price lists, all traders and service providers that provide goods or services to consumers must, from 1 October 2026, display an additional (anchor) price next to the current price. For services and newly covered products, the reference date is 10 September 2026.

If a salon has its own website, it must publish its price list in an electronically processable format – specifically XML or CSV. Price lists must be updated regularly and kept available for 30 days from publication, so consumers and authorities can always see historical and current prices.

The goal is more transparent consumer information. For salons it means a little more administration – unless you have a tool that handles it for you.
